The Indiana Access to Public Records Act (APRA) is an act in relation to access of public records and documents. Other State or Federal laws such as the Privacy and Security Act or Juvenile Court Act may take precedence over the APRA and may prevent your access to all or part of the information you have requested.
Report narratives (detailed accountings) will not be released as they are considered investigatory notes. Ind. Code 5-14-3-4 (b)(1).
